Physiotherapy for HYROX & CrossFit Athletes in Mississauga & Toronto

HYROX races, CrossFit classes and functional fitness training combine running, lifting, sled work, wall balls and high-rep gymnastics. That mix builds fitness fast, and it also puts a lot of repeated load on the shoulders, low back, knees and Achilles.

Whether you are training for your first HYROX race or chasing a new lift, our clinicians help you manage pain, keep training where it is safe, and build the capacity to handle what your program asks of you.

Common Concerns for HYROX & CrossFit

02Athletes

Why Functional Fitness Athletes Get Hurt

Most injuries come from load rising faster than the body can adapt: a jump in weekly volume, a new movement done for high reps while tired, or race-simulation workouts stacked without enough recovery.

We look at your training week as a whole, adjust the pieces that are aggravating symptoms, and use progressive strengthening so you keep training while tissues recover.

Services That Help

Sports physiotherapy assesses your injury and movement under load and builds a graded return plan. Chiropractic care, massage therapy and dry needling can ease muscle tension during heavy training blocks.

Personal training with a therapist and clinical Pilates build the trunk control and joint strength that support lifting and racing. If you are heading into a race, we can help you plan a sensible taper.

Your First Visit

Every plan starts with a full assessment. Your clinician looks at how you move, where it hurts, what you want to get back to, and the things that quietly shape recovery: sleep, stress, nutrition and daily load. From there you get hands-on care and a written Longevity Plan built around your training and racing goals, with clear steps between visits.

That plan follows our five-pillar Longevity Framework: movement, nutrition, sleep, emotional and mental wellness, and targeted supplementation. If you would benefit from another discipline, your clinician can bring in a colleague from the same clinic so your care stays connected.

We see clients at our Port Credit clinic in Mississauga and our Trinity Bellwoods clinic in Toronto. Many extended health plans cover our services, and we can direct bill many insurers. See pricing and insurance for details.

Using Your Insurance

  • Direct billing. We bill most major insurers directly, so you only pay any portion your plan does not cover. See direct billing.
  • What to bring. Your insurance card or your plan and member numbers, and any reports or imaging related to your concern.
  • No referral needed to book. Some extended health plans ask for a physician referral before they reimburse, so check your plan details.
  • OHIP. OHIP generally does not cover services at private clinics like ours. Most people use extended health benefits or a health spending account.
  • Receipts. You receive itemized receipts for any amount you submit yourself.
