Custom Orthotics That Move With You

Your feet carry you through life, and when they’re out of alignment, the rest of your body feels it. Our orthotics aren’t generic inserts. They’re tailored, precision-designed tools that address the way you move.

We work with people dealing with plantar fasciitis, collapsed arches, heel pain, shin splints, knee tracking issues, and even lower back pain caused by foot dysfunction. But we also work with runners, parents, athletes, commuters—anyone who wants to move more intelligently and more comfortably through life.

Our custom orthotics help you feel more grounded, balanced, and supported—whether you’re walking your dog through Trinity Bellwoods or hitting the gym.

Our Approach to Custom Orthotics

Our custom orthotics go beyond essential foot support; they’re designed to optimize your entire kinetic chain. Here’s how we approach it:

  • Comprehensive Assessment: We evaluate your gait, posture, movement patterns, and foot mechanics to understand the root of any imbalances or discomfort.
  • Personalized Design: Each orthotic is custom-crafted based on your specific needs, lifestyle, and health goals, whether active, on your feet all day, or dealing with chronic pain.
  • Evidence-Based Materials: We use advanced materials and fabrication techniques backed by clinical research to ensure durability, comfort, and biomechanical support.
  • Lifestyle Integration: Orthotics are designed to fit seamlessly into your everyday shoes and routines, so they work with you—not against you.
  • Long-Term Mobility Focus: Our goal is to support sustainable movement, improve alignment, and reduce strain throughout your body—not just your feet.

Custom Orthotics Toronto, Trinity Bellwoods FAQs

Custom orthotics are precision-designed inserts made to fit your unique foot structure. At Art Of Mobility in Toronto, our custom foot orthotics are used to address various foot problems like plantar fasciitis, bunion pain, metatarsalgia, and Achilles tendon discomfort. They’re especially helpful if you’re dealing with chronic foot pain, back pain, or postural issues related to your gait and overall biomechanics.

Our orthotics are created as part of a full treatment plan that may include education on footwear, rehab, and movement strategies. They help you move better and relieve pain from the ground up.

During your Initial Assessment & Casting, we perform a full evaluation of your gait, posture, and biomechanical function. If orthotics are recommended, a mold will be taken of your feet. This session helps us determine if custom made orthotics are the right fit for your needs.

We’ll also discuss your orthotic prescription questions, like whether a referral is required or if your insurance will cover the service.

Coverage varies by insurance plan. While many plans cover foot orthotics or custom orthotics, the reimbursement process depends on your provider. During your assessment, we’ll help you understand what’s required, including whether you need a medical orthotic prescription and how billing works under your practitioner’s license.
